Business Acquisition - National Manufacturer and Distributor - $10.7MAfter reaching a stalling point in a protracted business negotiation, B Capital was engaged by the prospective buyers to bring much needed resources to the transaction. After performing a full review of the transaction B Capital was able to re-engineer the corporate finance and then assist to renegotiate the acquisition. Both purchaser and vendor received the benefit of a well structured and timely acquisition process following the appointment of the team at B Capital.
Partnership Buy Out – National Distributor – Engineering Products - $3.5M
After unsuccessfully trying to negotiate the buy out of a current 50% business partner and fellow director for over 2 years, B Capital was engaged by the Managing Director of the company to try and resolve the issue. Whilst this proved to be a challenging mandate, given the reluctance of the outgoing director to deal, B Capital structured an initial pathway to completion involving formal business valuations, legal counsel and a mediation process with a view to achieving a fair and reasonable outcome for both parties.
